Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage today (25) ordered to further remand student activist Wasantha Mudalige till February 8.
Mudalige was produced in Court for unlawfully entering the President’s House last year and causing damages to the property.
The Inter-University Student’s Union Convenor is currently being held in custody under the provisions of the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
