National People's Power (NPP) Kegalle District MP Kosala Nuwan, 38, has passed away at the Karawanella Hospital after suffering a heart attack.
He contested the last parliamentary election from Ruwanwella and was elected to Parliament as a first-time MP.
An Attorney at law and his wife was shot dead in the car park of a super market in Akuregoda today evening.
