Namal resigns from International Relations oversight committee
SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa has resigned from the post of chairman of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on International Relations, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena informed parliament today.
SLPP MP Premanath C. Dolawatte was named to fill the vacancy.
The Speaker said that the committee which convened on August 2, 2024 decided to appoint Dolawatte in place of Rajapaksa.
