Navy rescues 40 passengers from Kala Oya

News

The Navy has rescued 40 passengers who were trapped on the Kala Oya bridge in a bus. 

They were later transferred to the rooftop of a house. 

Several attempts by the Air Force and Navy failed earlier. 

There were 69 passengers in the bus.
