In response to severe flooding caused by heavy rainfall, the Sri Lanka Navy swiftly deployed its relief teams to Trincomalee and Ampara this morning (28 Nov 25).
The Navy teams promptly assisted flood-affected civilians in Shafi Nagar, Muthur, Mayala Panchaveli in Kinniya of Trincomalee and Kalmunai of Ampara, transferring the affected communities to safer locations.
