Dr. Priyangi Amarabandu has been appointed as the Chairperson of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) with effect from May 7 by the State Minister of National Security, Home Affairs, and Disaster Management Chamal Rajapaksa, Defense Ministry said.
Dr. Priyangi Amarabandu received the Letter of Appointment from the Defence Secretary, and Secretary to the State Ministry of National Security and Disaster Management Gen. Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry today (June 9).
NDDCB is the premier government institution that is envisioned to eradicate the drug menace from the country.
