New Mullaittivu Commander Takes over Duties
Major General M.K Jayawardana RSP VSV USP ndu of the Sri Lanka Engineers assumed office as the new Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu on 09 June at the Security Force HQ - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT), said the SL Army
A Guard Turnout and a subsequent Guard of Honour saluted him soon after he arrived at the premises in accordance with military formalities.
Major General M.K Jayawardana RSP VSV USP ndu spoke to the troops and outlined the importance of working as a team for the prosperity of the country and the promotion of the Army image.
General Officer Commanding of 57, 59, 64,66 and 68 Infantry Divisions, Brigade Commanders, Senior Staff Officers, Staff Officers of the SFHQ - MLT Commanding Officers and Other Ranks participated in the brief inaugural event.
