Newly appointed Chairman of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority Capt. Nihal Keppetipola has assumed duties at his office in Port of Colombo yesterday.
Minister of Ports and Shipping Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Minister of Fisheries Douglas Devananda, Minister of Public Defense Sarath Weerasekera, State Minister of Warehouse Facilities, Container Yards, Port Supply Facilities and Boats and Shipping Industry Development Jayantha Samaraweera, Secretary to the Ministry of Ports and Shipping U C D Jayalal, and many other officials were present on the occasion.
