A new set of strict rules and regulations will be imposed on school canteens, Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors' Union (PHI) said.
Vice President of the PHI’s Union K.A.P. Boralessa said that this new set of rules and regulations are imposed as it was reported a rise in non-communicable diseases among school children.
He further added that the regulations at school canteens will be intensified, to ensure the diseases aren’t spread among the students.
In order to make sure the diseases aren’t spread among the students, Vice President of the PHI’s Union K.A.P. Boralessa said that the regulations at school canteens will be strengthen.
