The next round of negotiations for the Sri Lanka-Thailand Free Trade Agreement is to be held on June 27 and 28 in Colombo, the Cabinet has decided.
The fourth round of negotiations on the proposed Sri Lanka-Thailand Free Trade Agreement was held in Colombo from March 27 to 29 and the progress of those negotiations was presented by the President to the Cabinet.
Both parties have agreed to complete the negotiations and prepare the relevant agreement for signature by the two sides by the first quarter of 2024, Cabinet spokesman Minister Bandula Gunawardena said today (May 9).
