The public Utilities commission said that there will be no change in the electricity tariff, and the prevailing tariff would remain for the next three month.
The Chairman of the Commission Prof. K. P. L. Chandralal said CEB had submitted the proposal to increase the tariff by 6.8 per cent.
He saif the commission held the final discussion on the tariff yesterday and decided not increase the electricity tariff for next three months.
