A Magnitude 6.1 earthquake has been reported 800km southeast of Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean at a depth of 10km, The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said.
However there is no danger to Sri Lanka, the Bureau said.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
