The government will not allow those who were displaced by landslides to return to their damaged dwellings or lands if the areas are found to be vulnerable,
Essential Services Commissioner Prabath Chandrakeerthi told the Sunday Times.
He said the landslide-prone lands would be acquired by the government, and alternative lands would be given to those who lost their lands and houses.
