SriLankan Airlines has enough stocks of aircraft fuel, according to State Minister of Aviation and Export Zones Development, D.V. Chanaka, adding that the current fuel crisis will not affect the airline or aviation services in the country.
In a media release, he said SriLankan Airlines already has enough fuel reserves for the next one and a half months and last week, the airline paid US$32 million for future purchases of fuel. The airline also has the dollar reserves required to purchase fuel.
The airline services will not be disrupted, the minister assured.
