Nurses unions in several parts of the country today took part in protests campaigns against what they claimed the reduction of their allowances.
Nurses carrying placards and chanting slogans claimed that their overtime payments have been reduced and thereby the take away salary at the end of the month would see a reduction.
They claimed that the government has deceived the public by claiming that salaries have been increased by the budget and in contrast they have amended the allowances.
