Nuwara Eliya residents enthusiastic to get the jab
Long queues can be seen at the Nuwara Eliya District General Hospital as big crowds arrive to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine, Director of the hospital Dr. Mahendra Seneviratne said.
He said the vaccination drive has been a success since July 17 as majority are enthusiastically obtaining the vaccine prior to leaving for work once inter provincial travel restriction is lifted.
