One person was injured in a shooting incident at the Rajapakshapura area in Seeduwa last night (21).
Police said the victim was shot by two assailants who arrived on a motorcycle. He was rushed to the Ragama Teaching Hospital for treatment.
The injured victim is a 55-year-old resident of Rajapakshapura.
Police added that pistol had been used to carry out the shooting and a motive is yet to be established. Seeduwa Police is conducting further investigations to arrest those involved.
