More than 1,200 suspects were netted in another round of the 'Yukthiya' operation conducted by the police backed by the security forces in search of those dealing with narcotics.
According to the Police in the last 24 hours 1,192 persons including 27 women were arrested.
However, only 59 of them were detained for further investigations while a probe on the assets of 23 will be carried out.
Forty nine of them will be sent for rehabilitation.
During the operation 337.7 grams of heroin, 242 grams of ICE, and 6628 grams of cannabis was detected.
The operation is to continue today as well.
