Hundred and sixty(160) vehicles and 324 persons attempting to enter Western province without valid curfew travel documents have been turned away in the past 24 hours, police said.
According to police, on Tuesday 2267 persons and 1481 vehicles were checked at 13 police road blocks located at the border of Western province.
Meanwhile, 491 persons were arrested and 55 vehicles taken into police custody during the past 24 hours for violating quarantine rules and regulations.
