Over 8000 get second booster dose
A total of 8017 persons have been vaccinated with the second COVID booster dose (Pfizer), the Epidemiology Unit said.
Close of eight million people have already received the first booster dose. Only Pfizer was administered for the first booster dose.
According to the Unit, 11 million people have been fully vaccinated with the Sinopharm vaccine, 1.4 million vaccinated with Covishield, 155,812 given the Sputnik vaccine, 981,245Pfizer vaccine and 787,361 Moderna anti-COVID vaccine.
COVID numbers continue to remain low with five cases on Tuesday and no deaths.
