A National programme to plant more than one million trees gets underway tomorrow (April 20).
The cabinet of Ministers has approved a tree planting programme under the slogan "A plant for the Auspicious Time and the Auspicious Time that gives breath to the country."
The Auspicious time for planting of trees falls on April 20 at 6.38 a.m.
The Ministry of Agriculture is making the necessary arrangements to implement the programme.
Under the programme 1.1 million trees are to be planted across the country.
