Over thousand litres of petrol inside freezer truck
Close to 1500 litres of petrol was seized by police while being transported inside a freezer truck in Daluwa, police said.
The driver and assistant, aged 26 and 29 were arrested by Norochcholai police with the assistance of Navy personnel while they were transporting the illegal stocks of petrol from Chilaw to Kalpitiya.
The duo are to be produced before Puttalam Magistrate Courts today.
