ALUBOMULLA: Three suspects arrested for possession of 337.5 litres of illegal alcohol and 5663 liters of goda in 33 barrels.

AMBALANGODA: 62 year old van driver killed in an accident with a train at Venamulla railway crossing.

VAVUNIYA: 44 year old killed in an accident with a train in Thandikulam.

JAFFNA DIVISION DIVISIONAL CRIME INVESTIGATION UNIT: Three suspects arrested for possession of 27g 160mg, 23g 890mg and 12g 980mg each.
