Members of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) have unanimously decided not to implement the interim electricity tariff revision with retrospective effect, PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said.
Cabinet had earlier requested the PUCSL to implement the new tariff structure proposed by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) with retrospective effect as an "interim measure."
