State Minister Diana Gamage along with Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs Sujith Sanjaya Perera and Rohana Bandara are to be suspended from Parliament for one month over the confrontation that erupted in Parliament's Lobby on October 20.
The recommendation to suspend the trio was made by Parliament's Committee on Ethics and Privileges chaired by Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP and former Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa. The report compiled by the Committee was presented to Parliament this morning by Mr Rajapaksa.
