A group calling itself the ‘People’s Responsibility Centre’ today handed over a letter to the UN office in Colombo accusing the UN for interfering in internal matters of Sri Lanka.
The group also claimed that the UN had failed to protect the rights of the persons who suffered atrocities in the hands of the LTTE.
They claimed that the UN had failed to take any action against those responsible for the killing of 600 policemen who surrendered to the LTTE.
Some of the parents whose sons served in the security forces and declared missing also took part in a demonstration outside the UN office in Colombo.
