First ever stock of Pfizer COVID vaccines purchased by a South Asian country arrived in the island early this morning (5).
The consignment consisting of about 26,000 doses, being the first part of the 200,000 purchased by Sri Lanka, arrived on Qatar Airlines QR 668 flight at 2.15 am today, General Manager of State Pharmaceutical Corporation Dinusha Dasanayake said.
The balance stock of 174,000 doses is expected in the island within this month, he also said.
