Police arrest three for entering President’s House

News

Three persons who stormed into President’s House on July 9 were arrested yesterday(27), police said.

The suspects, aged 22, 40 and 55 are residents of Angunukolapelessa. The suspects arrested by Colombo central crimes division have been handed over to Slave Island police for further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 37 year old male from Malabe was arrested for inciting violence causing damage to vehicles and assaulting police officers near the private residence of President Wickremesinghe on July 9, police said.
