Four persons including a 19 year old has been arrested in Wariyapola area over the arson attack and setting fire to the office and house belonging to MP D.B. Herath.
Police said the suspects were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Division of Kurunegala and handed over to Wariyapola police.
The incident took place on May 13 this year. The suspects aged 19, 27, 29 and 36 are residents of Malagane area, police said.
Similarly, CID officials attached to Kurunegala division arrested a 55 year old person from Melsiripura over the attack and setting fire to the office and residence of MP U.K.Sumith Udukumbura during the May unrest.
