Police have commenced investigations into two suspicious deaths reported from Kandana and Wattala police areas.
A 75-year-old woman was reported dead under suspicious circumstances inside her house in Kandana last morning. The body has been taken to the Ragama Teaching Hospital and Kandana Police have commenced investigations.
Meanwhile, the body of a 29-year-old mechanic working at a garage in Hendala was discovered inside a car parked at the garage last evening.
The deceased is a resident of Negombo. Police are treating the death as suspicious and the body is currently still at the location under police guard pending a magisterial inquiry. Wattala Police are investigations.
