Police men and women from 27 police stations rewarded
Police men and women from three divisions in Colombo were rewarded for their special performance while carrying out theri duties.
They were selected from the Colombo North, Colombo South and Colombo Central divisions and were attached to 27 police stations.
Seventy four police personnel were symbolically given away the rewards by senior officials. A total of Rs 19.5 million was distributed among them.
Among those selected were police officers, Sergeants, Police contables (male and female) and police drivers.
