The closing date to submit Postal Voting applications for the upcoming Presidential Election closes on August 5, the Election Commission announced.
Applicants can also complete their relevant applications by logging on to www.elections.gov.lk
The Election Commission also warned that one of the Trade Unions in its Facebook account has mentioned that the deadline for postal voting closes on August 15. The Commission said the information was wrong.
