“We are not the party which has feared to take decision looking at results of the elections”, Prime Minister Rajapaksa said citing a couple of examples such as completion of the Norochcholai coal power project, restricting imports, ban on chemical fertilser etc.
President Rajapaksa said that the farmers will be looked after and they will be assured that their income levels will be increased with or without chemical fertiliser.
He said irrespective of the impact of the pandemic the government has gone to make many achievements including providing 100,000 jobs.
He called on the public not to be caught in misleading information and there were local as well as international forces trying to slow down the achievements.
