President Anura Kumara Dissaayake today announced a relief package for persons, including school children affected by the devastating landslides and floods.
Persons who lost their homes, farmers, poultry farmers and several other sectors would benefit from the schemes announced, the President announced in an address in Parliament.
Among the schemes to provide relief are:
Housholds completely destoyred by the disaster will received Rs five million to rebuild their houses.
