President appoints cabinet of three

President Anura Kumara Dissanaayke has appointed a three member cabinet with him retaining the Finance and Energy portfolios.
He is constitutionally the Minister of Defence.

Harini Amarasuriya who was ealier appointed as the Prime Minister will also be minister on change of several subjects including Education , Justice , Home Affairs.
Vijitha Herath is the Minsiter of Foreign Affairs , Public Security along with several other portfolios.
