The Treasury and Central Bank are to facilitate import of fuel for generation of electricity with immediate effect following an assurance given by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) said.
Chairman of the PUSL Janaka Ratnayake said the President has assured the PUSL and the general public that all necessary action will be taken immediately to avert electricity crisis in the country,
