During a meeting held to discuss driven issues connected to the health sector, President Ranil Wickremesinghe stressed that the Ministry of Health should be ascertained that no delays would arise in people getting drugs.
President Wickremesinghe further asserted that transparency is required for all available drugs in Sri Lanka.
He also mentioned that the web sites led by the Ministry of Health must update the total amount of drugs and the amount at hand in each hospital daily.
It is expected that the networking system will equip the interexchange of drugs between hospitals.
