President Ranil Wickremesinghe left for Germany today(27) on a four day state visit.
The President is listed as a participant at the Berlin Global Dialogue to be held on September 28 and 29.
Berlin Global Dialogue is a new international forum that unites leaders from business and policy to find joint solutions for a global economy in transition.
Among other participants are President of the European Council Charles Michel, CEO of Booking.com Glenn Fogel, Managing Director of Mahindra Group Anish Shah, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Ola Kallenius.
During his visit, President Wickremesinghe is to meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Berlin Global Dialogue's keynote speaker.
Meanwhile, State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe has been appointed as the acting Minister of Finance during the President's official visit to Germany.
