President Ranil Wickremesinghe met with the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong today (22) strengthening bilateral ties.
President Wickremesinghe who left the island on Monday morning (August 21) is on a two-day visit in Singapore accompanied by Chief of Presidential Staff and Senior Advisor on National Security Sagala Ratnayake, Senior Advisor on Climate Change Ruwan Wijewardena, and Senior Advisor on Economic Affairs Dr. R.H.S. Samaratunga.

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
