President Ranil Wickremesinghe today inaugurated the open cycle phase of the “Sobadhanavi” 350 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Kerawalapitiya, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
According to the PMD, the “Sobadhanavi” Combined Cycle Power Plant is the first in Sri Lanka to operate primarily on liquefied natural gas (LNG) as its main fuel source.
