President Ranil Wickremesinghe was given the credentials of the recently appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand Mr. Paitoon Mahapannaporn and High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka Major General (Retd) Faheem Ul Aziz this morning (Mar. 12).
Saman Ekanayake, the Secretary to the President and Ali Sabry the Minister of Foreign Affairs, were also in attendance.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
