The Sri Lanka Air Force urges the people of Colombo to refrain from sending balloons, drones, and kites into the skies of Colombo until the National Independence Day celebrations on February 4. Air Force Spokesman Capt. Dushan Wijesinghe stated that this request is being made as planes are flying lower in relation to the Independence Day celebrations.
This year's National Independence Day celebrations will be held at the Independence Square. The Air Force urges the public to be vigilant as rehearsal aircraft are currently being flown.
