Roads would be closed for traffic from Kollupitiya Junction to Galle Face and from Ceramic Junction to Galle face due to rehearsals of the Independence Day celebrations being carried out. Police media spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa said.
He explained that as the rehearsals are scheduled from Tuesday January 30, 2024 to Friday February 02, 2024 the road would be closed from 6.00 am to 12.30 Pm. He added that the road would again be closed from 2.00 pm on 03 February until the end of the Independence Day celebrations.
