More than 200 ecstasy pills and 750g of kush with an estimated street value of Rs.13 million were seized by officers of the Customs Narcotics Unit at the Central Mail Exchange today(15).
Customs said the narcotics were found in 15 parcels that arrived in the country from Germany, England, Canada and Spain.
The suspicious parcels contained addresses in Colombo, Panadura, Boralesgamuwa, Padukka and Piliyandala but were found to be fake addresses. The stocks have been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau.
