SC Justice Murdu Fernando takes oaths as new CJ
Supreme Court Justice, Murdu Fernando took oath before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake as the new Chief of Justice today morning, the President's Media Division said.
Justice Fernando was appointed to the Supreme Court on March 9, 2018. At the time, she was serving as Senior Additional Solicitor General at the Attorney General’s Department. Justice Fernando is the most senior current justice in the Supreme Court.
