The Commander of the Sri Lankan Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage met the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army, General Manoj Pande in New Delhi on Monday (4th December 2023).
Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage commenced formal discussions with his Indian counterpart, General Manoj Pande.
The Military officials of both nations had an official discussions on matters related to bilateral defence cooperation, enhancement of training modules, mutual understanding and friendship between the two armies were taken up for review.
In conclusion of the discussion, both parties exchanged mementos as tokens of appreciation and goodwill between the neighboring nations.
The vital objective of the official visit is meant to further enhance existing bonds of mutual understanding and friendship between the two armies and nations.
