Sri Lanka Tourism Authority has launched a travel Card to promote tourism.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Development Bank, NDB, took place at the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority recently.
Holders of the card will be entitled to various services in the tourism industry registered with the Tourism Development Authority and will have special privileges in dealing with tourists.
Tourists using the card will directly exchange the foreign currency with the bank. In turn they will get quality services such as being able to get goods and services in Sri Lanka safely with this card.
Mr. Priyantha Fernando, President of the Tourism Development Authority, NDB Senior Vice President Sanjay Perera, Vice President Seyan Hameed, Assistant Vice President (Cards) Ashan Wickramanayake and NDB Kollupitiya Branch Manager Mr. Kuresh Sappideen were present at the signing of the agreement.
