Purchasing of 14 million doses of Pfizer vaccination and financing other costs pertaining to vaccination will be carried out from a supplementary loan of 100 million US dollars from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The Cabinet approved a proposal by Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella to obtain the supplementary financing facility from the IMF to be used as emergency response to COVID-19.
