The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation is planning to purchase crude oil under a 180 day credit line, a senior CPC official said.
He said the Prime Minister’s office is coordinating the discussion with officials in Oman with regard to the credit line purchase.
According to the official, another 500 million US dollar loan is to be obtained from China to purchase petrol, diesel and aviation fuel.
