The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) base at Mullaitivu has been named as a temporary detention place from 23rd December, 2024 onward in terms of the section 48 of the Immigrants and Emigrants Act.
The relevant gazette notification was issued by the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs yesterday.
